Starring Kate Beckinsale and John Cusack, two people bump into each other as they each grab on to the last pair of black gloves in Bloomingdales department store in NYC — I love the concept of the “meet cute,” BTW. The scene is set during the holidays, just before Christmas when miracles and synchronicities are wafting through the air like the scent of winter pine.

Destiny steps in and they end up spending the evening together, falling in love-at-first-sight then … they separate to test Fate herself to make sure they are truly meant to be.

This film has Venus in Pisces vibes written all over it! I mention this of course because she moves into the sign of spirituality and creativity tomorrow, January 26th.
